This is a small, new budget hotel near Kampangpet which is part of the historical site of Sokotai. It is located off the beaten-path which is an advantage (excellent price, nice, quiet, and friendly place) and a disadvantage (it's a bit far from town so you need some means of transportation). The place is very clean and the price included a fine breakfast (in addition to a continental breakfast and rice porridge it had stir fried vegetable and fruit. The room was spacious and though simple , it had a private toilet, shower, and hot water and being airy, sunny, and bright, did not feel like a budget hotel.

Hotel is new. Location is good as behind BigC and Robinson is nearby.
Room is big enough and very clean. Room rate is very cheap with breakfast included.
Kampangpet is good place for visiting for UNESCO tourist place.

Very Good price (500-550 baht/night)
You should book in advance becase this is small hotel.
This price include breakfast.
Facility in the hotel such as towel, pillow, bed are ok. No hair drayer
Week point is this hotel didn't locate in downtown(but not so far).
If you have own car. It will be more comfortable.

We booked this place through agoda and it was only 600-ish THB. We stayed in the room 109 on the way from Bangkok to Chiangmai to break the trip.

What we like --
*The price includes breakfast for two.
*It was quiet though we stayed on the ground floor.
*The room is spacious for 2 of us + our baby.
*The bathroom, though a bit small, is clean and have hot water.
*The staff were helpful though didn't speak much English.

What we don't like --
*Not many options for breakfast, toast with margarine and homemade jam, fried egg, white rice, stir fried vegetable and boiled rice with minced pork.
*They offer free wifi but it was the connection was very poor and slow.

Our verdict --
What you got from FIG hotel slightly exceeds what you pay. Normally you don't get free breakfast with this kinda price. It is a bit tucked away while still not too far from city center (very close to Big C) but will be difficult to move around if you don't have your own transportation. If you are on budget, this is a good place deserve a recommendation.

We've stayed here before, and after trying a supposedly better place the night before, which was a disaster, we checked into here the next day... It's a bit out of the way but you're almost surrounded by rice fields so pretty quiet
Staff are always nice and the owner friendly, so we get greeted like old friends.
Rooms are spotless and beds comfy, wifi strong. Brekky is basic but nice to sit out side and enjoy the cool quiet morning..
Price is right, too!
The place to stay in KP...9
