Pleasant and very clean resort, big rooms and a nice pool at a reasonable price. The austrian guy and his thai wife are very nice persons. We arrived late so can't enjoy the food at their restaurant. Average breakfast. Guest house atmosphere.More

Thank you for being our guests. Thank you for your rating. Best regards Baan Malee
We spent four nights in this wonderful “kleines aber feines” resort and we enjoyed every minute of it. The resort is well kept and everything works as it should do. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and the shower gave a good amount of water. A problem with the hot water was solved immediately.
The swimming pool is very clean and we loved to jump in to have a fresh swim. The good advises for trips by Andreas and his interest in what we experienced were heartwarming. The city Kamphueng Phet, with its musea and ruines of an old templecomplex was within the reach of 20 kilometers.
Malee made us some delicious Thai diners and breakfests. She was always interested in what we liked best.
We can recommend this fantastic resort to everyone that travels in this region.
Run by an Austrian and his Thai wife, this place provides exceptionally large and clean rooms. There is a swimming pool and the location is well off the road in a rural setting. TI is about 20km from the historical parks of Kamphaeng Phet so could also be a base for a few days. We ate a very acceptable dinner there and the breakfast is very good including real bacon! Value for money is exceptional.
Beautifully clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The best in Thailand that we have enjoyed. Great value for money. As it is located, but well signposted, off the main road to Bangkok approx 24km south of KP it is well worth partaking of the food offered by the charming and helpful hosts, Malee and Andi. As well as the pleasant pool you may make use of free bicycles to explore the locality.
Great map on the resorts website with accurate Google pin made finding this little gem fool proof.
A bit of a test for my rusty German language skills and poor Thai but managed to find website useful and communicate with the lovely German and Thai owners. One of the cleanest and most modern rooms I have stayed in in Thailand, and only completed last year. The linen was crisp and white and the bed really fresh, large and comfortable. There is good wifi signal and TV in both Thai and English.
We were made incredibly welcome by Andy, the German owner. he bought across drinks for the mini bar, mosquito wipes and free water. I suspect we were the only guests that night but our food order for Penang curry was completed quickly and most obligingly. We were given various options of where to eat our meal which was really delicious and good value. We were also given the option of Thai or western breakfast and asked what time we wold like it served. Needless to say it was punctual and very tasty.
Two evening meals, an air conditioned room and two breakfasts came to something like 1300THB, In my opinion a very reasonable price. We chose the hotel as a stop-over from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and wouldn't hesitate to return. I only wish I had taken some pictures for this review.
My husband and I traveled here recently with our 1year old son and a couple of friends. We really enjoyed our stay at Malee. The owners are a nice Austrian-Thai couple who set up the hotel just one year ago in a small village outside Kamphaeng Phet. The rooms are rather big, newly furnished with fridge, tv and wifi. Both rooms and swimmingpool were very clean. We had dinner at our arrival with tasty thai food and we had our breakfast in the wodden house on the small garden close to the swimming pool. We travelled with our car so it was not difficoult to get to town to visit the historical park.
