We booked the Egyptian room, and were very pleased with it. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were high-quality and fresh. We slept very well. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing, and we also enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom. I was impressed that the hotel staff thought to include a travel guide to Egypt amongst the reading materials. Breakfast was basic but very nice, with a good selection of fruit.
Very centrally located on top of a popular pub. Not so noisy however...
Rooms are simple but clean and well equipped.
I have to recommend the breakfast - it is something extraordinary this days to have fresh pastry directly from oven or variety of home smoked ham from locally grown pork
There has a pub at the first floor and rooms are at the second floor. The rooms a nice and well furnished. All you need is at the place. There is a minibar at the room, also the shewing kit etc. The view of balkony is to the inyard.
We had Egyptian style double bed room with large bathroom and jacuzzy for two. Room was very nicely decorated and cosy but very very small. There was no wardrobe. The room was quiet except little noise from street but we had still great sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and was fulfilling. It was surprise that breakfast didn´t include any porridge, sausages or omelet but for the first time for me freshly squeezed orange juice was offered with no extra fee. As the guesthouse was in the middle of the town there was possibility to take a walk in the town. I reccommend this room for romantic getaway!
So I begin by saying the bed was comfy, room large and well apportioned with modern tv. The breakfast was also good and the staff friendly. There's not much they could've done in one night to resolve the issues here so no fault there. The need is really property related.
This place would likely be fine in winter or any cool day (of which there are many in Võru) but when it's warm outside (23+) it's super warm in those rooms.
Spent all night melting and fighting Mosquitos. The room lacked any fans and with a window even cracked it fills with Mosquitos.... We killed about 15 in an hour.
Also there is a real thump thump thump from the music below you in the pub which for us didn't stop till after midnight. We could hear the guy in the room behind us snoring a nice symphony. But could've dealt with it if it hadn't been a sweltering bed sauna with Mosquitos :D
For the owner: simple screens on the windows would keep the damn bugs out! Ceiling fan would be great. The toilet's half flush function made it run endlessly in the Russia room. Turning the bass down a little on the speakers below after 11 would be nice :)
In all don't be afraid to try the place :)
