Myself and my wife are having a staycation in Glengarriff and decided to drive to Castletownbere for lunch. Alas, every single restaurant in Castletownbere was closed, obviously due to the government Covid payment being to generous to justify the greedy restaurant owners to open.

So, en route back to Glengarriff, we stopped at Wold,Atlantic Bar for lunch. Lovely seafood chowder and calamari enjoyed.

Had lunch here as a part of a large family group. Kate and family are excellent hosts, we had a section of the bar to ourselves, we had pre ordered our food and service was fast and girls were lovely and very efficient. As a large group we had a wide selection from the menu, the food was hot, tasty, fresh, and there was plenty of sides with it. Definitely will return next year, maybe sooner and I wish continued success to them.

Great food in a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Really spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely enclosed outdoor area ideal for families. Would highly recommend, great value.

Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Staying in Adrigole for a week we visited the Wild Atlantic on a couple of occasions both as a family with kids and as couples. Each time we were very well looked after both in terms of service and quality of food. Kate and Mike Have done a fantastic job adhering to all the current restrictions without sacrificing a warm welcome and a great meal.

Had dinner here in the very new looking patio area. It was very welcoming & the staff were very nice. Covid 19 protocol was highly evident. Would definitely return here on future trips to this stunning part of Cork.
