Our accommodation host recommended to visit this winery. We arranged our tour (2 people) via email just 3 or 4 days ahead.

Claudio was a knowledgeable host, who spoke good english. He showed us winery and told about the history of this place and nowadays wine making. We loved their wines, especially reds and vin Santo.

We visited 3 wineries in Tuscany. In this one you can see tradition and history of winemaking. Prices are rather pleasant for Tuscany.

Dropping into this winery was part of a customized tour with Do It In Tuscany Tours out of Cortona. A drive through the lovely countryside took us to a very interesting journey of the love of wine, history and food. Host Mauro Pieri shared his passion of living in such a gorgeous part of Italy. His historical knowledge was amazing so much so that as he spoke we could see the battle and the paintings he spoke off. The wines were paired delicious food compliments of Chef Mauro. We also learned of his new adventures in milling his own flours. Our day was spent with Federico and Angela of the tour company. We will remember this day for years to come!

Five of us visited in late September. Owner was very welcoming and friendly even though we turned up out of the blue. He arranged for us to have a glass of wine while we waited for a previous group to finish their tour. Tasting was great, really informative talk and a good range of white, red and dessert wines. Fascinating to see the drying process for the 'vin Santo'.

Very interesting and pleasant visit to our first wine tasting. Very informative guide (sorry can't remember his name), lovely wines and beautiful setting which we walked around after purchasing a few bottles! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our visit to the winery, we were shown around by the owner and he explained how everything worked and the history of his wines. We tried 5 wines which were lovely. Whole experience was slightly spoiled when, it the midst of buying €300 of wine, his olive oil and his flour, he asked for €5 per head for tasting. We had rung it advance and they told us the tasting was free!! Anyway the Sannogallo and desert wines were excellent!
