“Spotless”

Fantastic 4 night stay in spotless accommodation, great comfy beds and the option of central heating or using the open fire. Ramona has thought of everything, scones, butter, milk and tea in the cupboard/fridge for when you arrive. Dressing gowns and slippers, table linen and candles the little extra touches that make you feel at home, this would be a great retreat for a romantic weekend.
The property is so quiet within an amazing setting and yet in under 5 minutes you can be in Warrenpoint.
I would recommend the Whistledown for a meal out and Kilbroney Park in Rostrevor for walking, it has a great play area for children.

“The highlight of our trip.”

From the moment we turned off the highway and saw Narrowwater Castle we were in awe.
Ramona met us to check in and was an absolute delight, the apartment is amazing has everything you need and more filled with modern gadgets and antique furniture,we were gob smacked to say the least.
Everything is thought of tea, coffee, milk even scones, bread, butter and local jam, all the detergents (eco friendly) you could need, they have thought of everything.
The best bit was wood and kindling by the fire ready to go ( we had a fire every night even though the weather was perfect). We cannot recommend this place more highly it is perfect in every way 5 mins into Warrenpoint and beautiful views everywhere you look. It's a pity it's so far from Oz or we would be regulars.
Thank you so much Ramona for a wonderful stay, it was lovely to meet you and your family and thanks for lending Milli the toys, please give Hershey and Pepper pats from us.

“A great castle experience in a fantastic apartment .”
Reviewed 4 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The apartment is recently renovated and beautiful. The furniture fits with the castle experience and the beds were very comfortable. Ramona was a great host and supplies scones, brown bread, milk, tea and coffee. I learned how to use a coffee press. The apartment has a fireplace and 2 bedrooms. The grounds are nice to walk and there is an equestrian center that can arrang horse back riding if you book in advance. I highly reccomend Narrow Water and would stay again. Normally you can't go in the castle but there was a wedding show so we were able to go inside. No pub or restaurant on the property but town is 5 minutes away and we ate at a great local spot I believe was called Diamonds.

“5 Stars for a full of character holiday home”

A very relaxing weekend break at Ramona's beautiful place.

The high ceiling and the antique furniture transport you to past times, while touches like the already lit fireplace and burning candles made for a fantastic first impression.
The rooms were very spacious, everything was clean and fresh and the beds were really comfy.
There were many walks around the castle; after a morning chat with Ramona we chose to take a footpath leading to a nearby lake and were not disappointed.
We also stumbled upon a horse riding centre but had unfortunately run out of time, will definitely visit next time!
The gardens and surrounding areas were virtually car free and very safe for our 7 year old daughter to run and play.

A 5 star holiday let and will love ti re visit in the near future, would highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for 4 days during the Christmas and New Year and would highly recommend the apartment for people to stay. Romona was excellent, always at hand. The apartment was full of character and so cosy especially by the open fire. Thanks again.
