We stayed at this bed and breakfast for a week end, and never slept in such a beautiful villa. With a natural path, descending to the sea, on rocky spots. Blue and clean water, sun, and very good home made food. I will never forget how Massimo attended us, I'm sure he's a natural talent in hospitality. Hope to have another occasion to visit Italy, and come back to this paradise.
We'll miss also Kimbo, their awsome dog.
We loved staying at Isola di Eaa! It was so relaxing and peaceful, and the view of the sea was truly magnificent! We really felt as we were coming home and relaxed to the sound of the sea and just taking in the view and the stillness. The owners were really lovely, and the cooking surely amazing!
Isola di Eea it's a beautiful villa with magnificent view on the Sea. A big variety of plants, very well kept, outside and inside the living room, connected to an internal atrium and to the external terrace. The architecture of this building allows a big amount of sun light to get inside, and there is a perfect equilibrium between sun and shade. The room we stayed was Ginepro, and couldn't choose better combination between price and quality. A big window in front of the bed, and a terrace with armchairs, towards the sunset.
A phew steps, descending towards the sea, and you are surrounded by all kind of plants and herbs, where the scents are enhanced by a very calm wind.
The sea is on rocks, no sand, but very easy access to the water. There are severals natural pools, caves and cliffs. Scenario is absolutely not common, considering that Rome is just 1 hr distant, and car is a must.
Isola die Eea is the place to be if you want to enjoy an outstanding time. We stayed in Suite Bouganvillea, which is a very spacious suite with a wonderful private terrace. The Hotel is located in a stunning setting and has a beautiful ocean view. We really enjoyed the calmness and privacy of that place- it's perfect for couples to relax. In spring the area of the hotel is amazing. The garden is well-kept and you can hang out on the rocks enjoying the sun or even go swimming in one of the natural pools. The owners of the hotel are very nice and hospitable. They anticpated every wish of us, served us breakfast and invited us to have lunch with them. The food and wine was always really good. We really recommend Isola die Eea, it's like a small paradise!
A beautiful boutique hotel in an outstanding area of natural beauty.
I would say this hotel is perfect for couples and good for families with older kids that want somewhere to really relax.
It is also perfect for honeymooners and single adults who want peace and tranquillity. We felt totally calm and relaxed here and Massimo mentioned that practically all guests leave the hotel feeling refreshed and reinvigorated and do I believe him! A great place for authors and artists to cleanse the mind and lose themselves.
I would say it's not suited to anyone with mobility issues due to the fairly steep paths and rocky sunbathing / swimming areas.
I would also say its not ideal for young children either unless the parents are willing to keep a watchfull eye which would really defeat the object of this place.
Overall, a Highly Recommended Hotel.
This family run establishment is a cross between boutique hotel and a family residence. Beautifully decorated throughout the rooms and common areas, this is the perfect get away when you want to relax, tan on the private little piazzette carved from the cliffs, go for a swim in crystal clear waters or walk through the lush gardens.
The bed & brunch formula is a nice twist to the usual B&B format; at Isola d'Eea you are served breakfast on the terrace, whereas lunch is eaten with the family and other guests around a large round table. This is truly a place for international travelers who enjoy meeting like minded people, in a setting unlike anything you've seen. The hospitality of the Ferretti family is unique in its kind.
