Lovely, authentic place with a relaxed, no-nonsense ambiance. A lot of attention has gone into the restoration and decoration of the homes with personal objects from the owner’s family. The results are very tasteful, quite unique homes full of history. Every home has a private patio with bbq and the surrounding grounds and gardens are nice and well kept and provide you with herbs for your dinner.
Quinta São Pedro is perfect to unwind and recharge batteries. It’s situated in the countryside surrounded by nature but still close to town and beaches. Very inviting to not go anywhere and stay at the quinta, read a book, have an outside meal or do nothing and lay back. If you want though, you can go sightseeing, or go to any of the popular attractions of the Algarve easily as the location of the quinta is very central. Ana, the owner is visiting the quinta on a daily basis, making sure you are enjoying your stay and answering any query you might have. Recommended also for larger groups: we stayed with two families, 8 people in total, in two homes and where able to have breakfast and dinner together at one home without any hassle. All ages, from 2 to 74 enjoyed the holiday and Quinta de São Pedro.
One of three small villas created tastefully and sympathetically on a lovely old farm. Situated in the countryside with far reaching views and overlooking the town of Ferragudo, Quinta de São Pedro couldn't be better placed for all areas of the Algave. It is beautifully presented and owner Ana Maria couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations. A real gem.... Can't wait to go back next year.
We have just returned after an amazing two weeks in Quinta de Sao Pedro. The house was beautifully done out and the grounds made for a really relaxing holiday. The swimming pool was a fantastic area and being not too deep was perfect for strong swimmers and also the not so strong. The beach was either a short drive or ten minute walk away although we tended to stay by the pool during the day as it was too nice to leave!!! In the evenings the bustling town of Ferragudo was only a 12 minute walk away and is a real family friendly old fishing village. Ana the owner did everything she could to ensure our stay was as pleasurable as possible and we were given lots of fruit such as peppers, tomatoes, melons, figs and almonds from the property. We will with no doubt stay again at the Quinta we had such an amazing time in fact my daughter cried when we left!
