Description: A lovely old village inn with a choice of real ales and refreshing lager also Aspall Harry Sparrow cider on draught. A great menu with many choices all cooked to order often with a little twist. We have a 4 acre garden with 5 resident donkeys waiting to be stroked with plenty of room for children to run about and enjoy themselves

We were looking for a new local pub for a Sunday lunch, and The Robin Hood came up on an internet search. Having never visited Clifton Regis before it was nice to see it could be reached via country footpaths from Olney. After a brief march through the countryside the pub was a delight to see. Just what you’d like a village pub to be. Two bars, one for drinking and one for eating. Plus a conservatory dining area and a delightful garden. We were made to feel very welcome, and the family vibe shone through. On a Sunday they lay on a carvery. Our table was reserved, with our name on the tag for the personal touch. The food was excellent, and the friendly conversation showed how much pride and passion went into running the pub. I learned all about the beer festival the following weekend. We loved our visit. Not just for the food, but the English Village ambience that is so often lost in pubs these days. We’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend to anyone also looking for a hidden gem :)

What a cracking welcome and atmosphere. Barbara and Ian can't do enough from the minute you walk through the door. As a first time visitor I felt like part of the family. Popped in for one drink and ended up playing skittles and sampling a few beers. Cask ale was in great condition a must for anyone wanting a real pub welcome.

Visited this pub again and found the service to be excellent, food brilliant and the surroundings outdoor, absolutely divine.
Lots of work has been done to make the outdoor area one which would attract families, pets and given good weather, it is difficult to find any other Pub/Restaurant in the area with similar facilities.
When we visited, it was to have a lunchtime snack and we both settled on the Home Cured Ham ploughmans on a ciabatta.
This really wasn't a 'sandwich', it was a meal. - ciabatta loaded with ham, cheese and salad with a proper salad & coleslaw on the side.
As I have come to expect here, the Ham was unbelievable, not sure how the chef gets such a consistently tasty ham, but he does.
Once again, a great visit topped off with a couple of lovely drinks (real ale and bacardi & coke)
If you live in the area, you could do well by visiting the Robin Hood.

Roast beef dinner delicious, with crispy roast potatoes. A warm and cosy atmosphere on a cold and wet lunchtime. Will be coming back and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good Sunday roast in a country pub. Good service too.

Myself and my family popped in the pub for a sunday lunch after walking the route from Olney. There was only one waiter who balanced all of his job brilliantly and delivered great customer service. He came across as enjoying his job which is a nice change from other places we have been to recently. The food came in reasonable time and was very good. We will definitely keep coming back.
