The biggest regret we have is not having stayed longer on this wonderful property!
The hacienda offers characterful, clean rooms with nice bathrooms spread across the various buildings, several terraces and seating areas and a nicely appointed breakfast and dining area with an open fire place. Whether you wonder around the flower and herb garden or the paths that expand all across the property you'll find colorful birds, stunning views on Quito and beautiful vegetation. Several miradors and beach chairs invite to relax and forget the world around you.
The hospitality of the owner and staff took our stay to another level: a late night tour through archeological tunnels and a taste of medicinal herbs gave us a deeper understanding of the rich heritage of the property and family. Even the taxi driver Daniel organised us for a day was just lovely, she took us to Quito city center (30-45 minutes drive) where we wanted to do some last minute shopping and even bargained for us getting us great discounts. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - all served in an elegant style were delicious and nicely prepared. Enjoying a late check out until 6 allowed us to relax till very shortly before our flight (the airport is 20 minutes away) and made the perfect end to our Ecuador trip!More
