My wife and I stayed at this hotel a day ago. We checked in June 30th and checked out July 1st. The hotel is beautiful and wish we had a better experience but it was a nightmare. I originally reserved one night for June 1st. A few day before we were to check in I received a call from the hotel letting us now that there will not be electricity and they wanted us to transfer to their sister hotel Satai kenneret. After reviewing the reviews, we decided not to take that option. The guy told us if we were able to come one day earlier, he would upgrade us to a room with a private pool. We went out of our way and in the end were able to make that work. Upon check in they told us that we would need to leave the hotel at 10am as there would not be electricity. This was not explained to us when the gentleman called. They told us we can stay until 1pm but with no electricity and no hot water!!!!! After traveling 2.5 hours to get there what other choice did we have?

We got to our room and thought it was amazing! The room was clean and spacious. The pool was amazing. Until I jumped in. After 5 min in the pool all the sudden I was shocked and not in a good way. There was an electricity current on the outer sides of the pool. I had received an electric shock. My wife didn’t believe me and decided to come in. After she put her arm on the side of the pool she also was shocked. It was a very strong electric shock and actually burned her arm.(pictures below) we right away got out of the pool and called the reception. They told us this is the first time they heard of this issue and will bring someone to check it out. After about an hour someone came to the room to check. The guy who checked the pool said someone the day before complained about the same issue. How can they allow guests in a pool with an electrical issue?!?!?!?! He right away turned off the electricity and told us not to use the pool. My wife requested to see a doctor and they told us they don’t have a doctor on hand and would see what is able to be done. No one got back to us.

We later spoke with the head manager and were given the option to leave the hotel and pay the fee and to be given a voucher to come back on a different day?!?!?!?!? What kind of service is this. We took days off work took the time to travel 2.5 hours and were told to go home and comeback on a different day!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS Hotel!!!!!!!

Wow! This place is stunning! The staff were all lovely and attentive along with the manager Ackram.
The hotel has been recently refurbished and is beautiful! The rooms, pool and all public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

If you want to get away from it all, relax and enjoy quiet time in beautiful surroundings this is the place to go!! We will be returning, that’s for sure!!

Beautiful elegant country hotel, nestled in a pine forest with beautiful views overlooking the Hula valley and Ramat hagolan. Rooms are lovely and light, spacious and comfortable with pampering amenities. Breakfast was very good, eaten on the tranquil terrace with its beautiful views. The pool is a delight too. Evening dining options are room service or nearby a choice of restaurants in the vicinity, a short drive away.Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel and it’s friendly courteous staff.
