We have loved this experience in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever seen.
A bunch of islands facing a lagoon, with ours managed in a fantastic way, with houses where you get all possible comforts
The staff is fantastic and makes the experience even more enjoyable
A special thank to Bibin who has been a really special host. And to our housemaster Shaudi who has made our stay very smooth

If you're reading this review (and countless others) trying to decide where you should book your Maldives holiday, I can save you some time and simply say Naladhu is it! Stunning location, amazing staff, conveniently located 30 minutes away from Male by speedboat, this place was casual luxury at its finest. Our house master, Munzir, was friendly and efficient, and took care of everything from the moment we arrived until our departure as we were connected to him via a dedicated cell phone. Meals, both in our villa and at the Living Room, were excellent. In particular, our server Logu was very nice.

The great thing about Naladhu is that as part of three islands that comprise the Anantara resorts- Dhigu, Veli, and Naladhu, you have access to activity and dining options at all three which gives you more opportunities to either be around more people or to retreat to the more secluded sanctuary that is Naladhu. It's worth noting that children are only allowed on Veli (the honeymoon island) for dinner and that only guests on Naladhu are allowed there- hence the "private" in private island.

Dinner at Origami on Veli was amazing. I'd recommend ordering from the regular menu as opposed to teppanyaki. The duck dish is almost worth the trip in and of itself! Sea, Fire, Salt on Dhigu was also a great dinner spot. With tables overlooking the water, you'd be hard pressed to find a better location. Both the steak and the salt brick seafood dish were tasty and service was spot on. We ran out of time to try the over water Thai restaurant, but it's location between Naladhu and Veli looked spectacular and on our to do list when we return.

We tried stand up paddle boarding as well as took a glass bottom boat ride, both of which were very nice. Most of the time was spent with much needed relaxation in the amazing turquoise waters or at the pools. If you get a chance to see the Beach Guru at Dhigu, make sure you get a fresh coconut water... it was amazingly refreshing!

Lastly, I wanted to note that the hospitality extended to us by Coetzer and Sandy was what really helped make this trip so special. Their assistance, both with pre-trip email questions, as well as on the island, helped make this a trip of a lifetime.

Can't wait until we return!

The Naladhu Private Island in the Maldives was the holiday of a lifetime.
A holiday can be dissected into many components and like every cog in a fine watch, this place had it down perfectly. If only it could have slowed time itself.
The setting was spectacular, the villa was incredible and the attention to detail was impressive.
Some of the more important factors like service, food, the staff and most importantly our house master... helped create a holiday that left us just wanting more.
We know that a great experience is difficult to re-live. But we are destined to give this place a chance to wow us at our encore.
A special thanks to Aslam, Sandra and Bodah. Our Little Hugh (20 months) made some wonderful friends! xxx

Stayed for only 24 hours but the experience was just the best I've ever had. I'm already looking at going back. The Ocean Pool Villa is just outstanding for a private hide away with ocean views to die for and a private pool to relax in.
