We really felt as if this was our home for the week. We were made welcome from the very start with coffee, tea, milk and cake awaiting our arrival. A free standing bungalow all to ourselves for the week, with Barbara on hand nearby if needed but never intrusive. Quiet, peaceful location set well back from any passers by or traffic. It made for a relaxing break whilst my partners house is being renovated. Thank you Barbara!
The one bed was in an ideal location to get around all the local attractions and was equipped with all you needed. We were greeted with milk in the fridge tea and coffee to get us started also with fruit and snacks which was a lovely treat. The only niggle was the bed which was a 3/4 (4ft) after being used to a king size it was a bit snug. Thank you for a great week
We stayed here for two nights...the annexe is in a perfect location if you wish to get out and about in Newcastle and surrounding areas. The bus stop is a short walk away and only takes around 15mins to the centre. The accommodation was perfect for myself, husband and dog with everything you would need for your break. Including access to the garden and also a lovely walk if you are taking your four legged friend. Barbara and Lillian were great hosts giving us directions and tips on where to go. They also left us fresh strawberries and cream for us to enjoy. We will most certainly be returning here next time we head up to the north east. Thanks again xx
A hidden gem in the lovely suburb of Gosforth. We needed a great location that was pet friendly and close to the centre of Newcastle and we were all delighted. Lovely surroundings (really peaceful) with wonderful hosts in both Barbara and Lilly. Great access from the A19 so visits to Northumberland and other locations were straightforward. We also took the bus into Newcastle which was 20mins tops and takes you right into the city centre. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we will be back xx
Very best wishes Henry, Steph and Leo
