If you like hiking you can reach in during the day and back, or eventually also stop to sleep in the refugio near by.

We headed to Bolson from Bariloche looking for a hippie vibe and veggie-friendly food. Bolson did not deliver on either of those fronts but this sculpture garden made it almost worth the trip. Great art in a great setting. Definitely a must if you are in Bolson. Note: The hike up was tough going in parts, but it is mercifully short, so hang in there!

It's on the way to Piltriquitrón it's an hour walk or 45 min to get there from the parkinglot.
It's amazing to see what they've done with the dead trees after 1980's fire. Never seen anything like it. It's not that big, but it's worth seen.
Be aware, you'll get charget to be able to visit the place. It's about $40 (pesos Arg)

There was a short, steep hour long up hill hike. Great views! A great spot for a picnic on top. Don't try to drive up with a rental car unless you have 4 wheel drive. We saw many cars stuck on the side of the dirt road.

I really enjoyed walking around the Bosque Tallado, there are some pretty amazing sculptures and fantastic views of El Bolson. If you have the time, I would definitely recommend walking the extra 3 hours or so up to the Refugio and then to the summit of the Piltriquitron. Breathtaking views of the whole cordillera for a relatively short hike (there are some steep areas and a lot of loose gravel though)!
