The hotel was good value for money, with functional, clean rooms and a good breakfast. Although the hotel was on fairly busy stretch of road, the rooms were quiet enough. There are a range of bars and restaurants about a 15 minute walk away, where you can sit by the Thames and have a drink.

No problems with our stay. The hotel is easy to find situated on a small industrial estate right next to the M3.
The car park isn’t free though so you have to pay separately either on the day or in advance online as we did.

We have stayed at this hotel many times as we are great racing fans and often attend the racing at nearby Kempton Park, we have booked an early check-in many times as we normally attend afternoon race meetings. This time was an evening race meeting so we didn't book early check-in. We made better time than expected on our journey and arrived at the hotel just before 2pm...oh is it early check-in the receptionist asked...'no thank you' we replied, we don't want to pay any extra... She asked us to take a seat in the bar which by the way is as basic as a school canteen, theyve removed any comfortable seating leaving only hard tables and chairs. That would have been fine but the receptionist (Avalon?) blatantly booked in at least 3 parties and they had their rooms after us despite not having booked early check-in. (We could clearly hear the conversation at reception) It was like a 'spite' thing! The hotel wasnt busy, there was only 8 cars in the car park... totally a 'cant be bothered' attitude. As an aside, this hotel seems to have a proportion of its rooms set by for the local homeless, no problem to us but basic repairs are lacking, for instance our toilet seat was hanging off. To be honest its a very basic hotel with problems we've overlooked in the past as it suited our needs but a very simple gesture of allowing us to have our room one hour earlier than paid for (as others seemed to get without problem, therefore the rooms were ready) would have made all the difference. We wont ever stay here again sadly and Travelodge please note the supercilious attitude of your reception staff which insulted us a middle-aged well-travelled couple!?

We had really nice time in this hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was tasty. They have really friendly staff, always ready to help you. I recommend for people visiting London, which doesn’t like to stay in loud city center.
