Two couples in our family enjoyed this very comfortable condo with all the amenities they needed and the convenience of being so close to the clubhouse with restaurant and bar and the pool area. They loved their stay!
Our stay in condo 1B of Rancho Santana was as comfortable and convenient as we could possibly have wished. Its ground-level location meant no hauling suitcases upstairs. Immaculately kept. Internet worked well. Don't recall if there was a TV; too much else to do more interesting than TV. A bird-lover, I was thrilled in particular to wake in the morning to exotic birds, a few feet away or almost at my feet, enjoyed daily from a chair right on our patio. The hotel and the shore were nearby, dinner at the hotel was excellent, and we much delighted in the local art displayed there. Though we've traveled extensively around the world, this was our first visit to Nicaragua, and we were surprised to be surprised. We knew it to be among the poorest countries in the world. We found it a truly fascinating land, clearly in the process of change, welcoming to tourists and retirees, trying hard to find a pathway for its people in a changing world. If you are aiming simply to surf, relax, and enjoy a tropical beach, you will not be disappointed. We always felt safe and saw much beauty. We also left with new insights and sympathies that will be long-lasting.
