My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Le Clos in the late summer, and I simply cannot say enough about the experience. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and inquiries both before and after I booked my stay. The building is lovely and unique, and the grounds are not enormous but very nice. The rooms are well-appointed and the beds extremely comfortable.
The hotel really shines in hospitality. Eric and Odile are attentive, polite, kind, and seem to anticipate requests before they even occur to you. They had tons of information about the beautiful town and daily activities.
Do not skip the hotel's dinner! We dined at the hotel restaurant each night. The menu has amazing choices, and each dish we got was impeccably prepared and presented. Eric was able to answer all our questions and offer great recommendations. The wine selection was also superb.
In short, Le Clos is situated in a beautiful town and has lovely rooms and amenities (though we did not hit up the spa area). It has an old-school hospitality vibe, perhaps due to the size and location. You will have a very special stay.More
