TI Kaye is quite secluded. The trip from the airport is an hour and half . The road leading into the resort is *interesting* (lots of twist and turns). We stayed in an ocean front cottage which was absolutely charming- covered porch with hammock, large bed with mosquito netting, and an outdoor shower (which was nice- and interesting to take a warm shower in the rain)- AND.... the view- I can't even express how beautiful it was (breath-taking for starters!). The hotel & restaurant staff (& management) are extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is nice with a good selection of food and wine. The resort is tucked away on a large cliff. To access the beach you walk down (and up) 166 stairs- which requires you to be *fairly* fit. We found out on our last day that you could actually take a car ride instead of walking back up (but we needed the exercise after all the good food and drink we consumed). The beach was nice .... but I have definitely been to prettier beaches in the Caribbean. The biggest complaint I had with the beach (and this has nothing to do with the resort) is it is a public beach and on certain days tour boats (usually from larger resorts) come in with a couple of dozen people to explore the beach and snorkle in the cove....which is understandable because there is good snorkeling, but it...More
