On an exceptionally warm evening we arrived at Etincelle les Gentilhommes. We immediately had the feeling of walking into someone’s home. Our room was eclectically decorated in an african style, quaintly with a bath within the room itself. We slept well and comfortably under the umberella at the foot of the bed. Dinner was taken on the terrace, cooked and served by our charming hosts, who had both worked at Quatre Saisons in UK. Each course, all the chef's choice, was a surprise and delight, lovingly explained and presented. Breakfast the following morning is taken at a communal table - time to enjoy chatting to other fellow travellers who were all french.
