We stayed one night at this hotel in order to visit the wonderful villa de Leyva. The hotel is clean, people were mostly nice. The view from the room was amazing. The bed was of very good quality and after so much walking on Villa de Leyva, this was very important.

Taking safety measures
I booked what looked like a lovely hotel for Easter weekend, however the reservation was cancelled today as the hotel claimed there was a problem with my card. There wasn’t - I checked with my card provider. The hotel would not take my calls so I have made alternative arrangements. Pity.

This hotel is located just over 10 minutes walk away from the Plaza Mayor in a very quiet part of Villa de Leyva.
Staff were very attentive

Breakfast itself was good but not particularly amazing.
There is a relaxing and pretty courtyard area.
This hotel is located just over 5 minutes walk away from the Plaza Mayor in a very quiet part of Villa de Leyva. Staff were very attentive upon arrival and showed us our room which was spacious with a great bathroom (amazing shower), and a small balcony. Breakfast itself was good but not particularly amazing. Hotel also offers a relaxing and pretty courtyard area. But, overall very impressed with the room and the comfortable bed. Added bonus of being able to get English films on the TV!
Awesome service! All the staff is very friendly and always looking out to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious,neat and comfortable, the shower is like being undreneat a water fall. Breakfast is prepared fresh and served to your table plus you have different options to choose from that very typical from the country. Only 2 minute walk from the main plaza. Great price and location! Thank you Cristina for such great place. Will recommend 100% for everyone and my next stay.
Room is ample and bed comfy. Shower great too. A number of minuses though I am afraid. It's not centrally located. WIFI wouldn't work and I had to repeatedly ask the receptionist to provide the password for the internal net before being served (took one day). Breakfast is ridiculous, two slices of bread, one sliced fruit and a coffee or chocolate. No English spoken at all.
Most disappointingly they charged me VAT despite I was a tourist (in Colombia only Colombians or long-term residents have got to pay that in a hotel). I notified them the very first day of my stay and was told that "in a couple of weeks" I'd be refunded. Obviously this wasn't the case and only thanks to the website I made the booking through I could be refunded after waiting for more than one month.
