We arrived without reservation in the evening. My wife had stayed here before and liked the location. The price seemed quite high, but since it was on the plaza I agreed to stay. The location was beautiful, and the patio on the third floor had a fantastic view. They had parking available.

There were issues, however with the facilities. The bathroom was small and hot water inconsistent. The internet was a joke - basically unusable. I went to breakfast and had to hunt down staff just to get coffee. The breakfast was average.

There was a bar next door, and the noise made it hard to sleep.

If being on the plaza is important to you, then this might work. I just expected more for the price paid.

This hotel has the best location and view in town and it is nice with excellent staff. However, it has a lot of negative points which made our stay very unpleasant at times. Some heavy and noisy construction work was being done and there was dust everywhere for the entire 4 nights we were here. They did not even bother to clean up each day. So the only ‘common area’, which was necessary to use sometimes when internet in rooms was slow or nonexistent, was covered with dust. Even the breakfast area was. And they started banging walls at 7:30 am. No attempt made to mitigate for the inconvenience, perhaps moving the breakfast area away from the dusty section, or covering the work area with a dust trapping screen. It was all right there to see, in one’s face, with smell of earth and dust, on entering the hotel. One felt they could not be bothered to make things easier for guests. Apart from that, the internet was erratic at times and we were both bitten all over. No idea what it was, but I suspect bed bugs. And the owner’s dog disliked me and tried to bite me on more than one occasions. Breakfast is good, but could be better for the price they charge, and staff lovely and helpful but perhaps not enough for such a large place. They could not be nicer but the problem with the hotel is a managerial issue whereby they do not seem to care the inconvenience caused. Physically the hotel is lovely and commands amazing views from the terrace, in fact the best view in town of the most beautiful square, yet for a stress free stay to guests, they really need to sort out a lot of issues. They waved the price we were meant to have paid for a larger room, but this was natural considering all the inconveniences.

We arrived late without reservation and they were able to give us the Suite, on the last floor.! beatiful! It is a very big bedroom, with an incredible terrace, with full open view of the Plaza. The location is more than perfect. People were really nice with us, all the staff, and we even met the owner, she took care of everything we needed.
Also, we were traveling with our 3 dogs, and she was very understangind and let us stay with our dogs. It was a perfect stay. THANKS! :)
