My wife and I are now, regretfully, back in Connecticut. We are reminiscing about our recent trip to Marsh Harbor and some of the highlights of the trip. We had two meals at Wally's during our visit, both of which were superb. What struck us most was the attentive and friendly service we received from our server Vanessa. She was not only delightfully friendly, but also well versed in not only the specials, but the preparation and ingredients used in each dish, as well as appropriate wine pairings and even dessert recommendations that did not disappoint. Additionally, Anna, the General Manager was accommodating and attentive. She directed us to the boutique that shares the space in the restaurant, which was another great spot. We found uniquely Bahamian, yet refreshingly un-touristy gift selections here and the prices were most reasonable. We look forward to another great experience at Wally's, as well as a reunion with the staff and another visit to the Boutique.
Try the whole fish snapper for lunch, the conch is the best we've had...anywhere. The lobster...of course. Don't forget a Wally's special and the fried cheesecake (holy smokes)
