I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel for the european paintball league. The room was clean. But it looked old. The very very old tv, the curtains, the very bad tv signal and only 7 channels. The wifi did not work either.
They realy need to refresh the rooms and bring it into the 21 th century.

Stayed: May 2017, travelled solo

Apparently the NCO's quarters in a redundant US military base. Luxurious to anyone used to a British Army barracks but sadly lacking if you expect hotel standards. It is probably 1 or 2 star - no tea/coffee making facilities in room and two miniature bottles of body wash on arrival but not replaced next day. The block had approx 70 rooms on the first and second floors with one unreliable lift. Reception spoke english but provided no written guidance to hotel routine or surrounding area in English.
The hotel is 5 kilometres outside Bitburg with no bus service.
Meals are boring, well cooked and varied if you arrive at 6pm but less so when the preferred dish of the day has run out at 6:30.
A reasonable place for one night if you don't mind walking our companjons noted our rooms were 400 paces from reception (about a quarter of a mile) but the corridor was warm.
In case your looking for one no rooms have baconies or access to the outside world.
WiFi is charged and whilst the hotel has many facilities most were closed when we visited in July.

Room Tip: Don't go there.

It's a very strange hotel, is big even hughe but almost empty, just a few guests. It's certainly not a modern venue, but is kept in good condition. It's clean. Staff is friendly, breakfast OK.
There is a pub and disco. During daytime no opportunity to have a drink. In the disco it was almost empty except on a saturday night: there was an (oldfashionned) DJ and a lot of local singles were dancing....a very strange atmosphere.

It's not a hotel for a family trip, but with a (big) group it's OK.

Stayed one night at this "Hotel", and it was a weird experience. Found out that it used to be an old US Military Base. So basically you are sleeping in refurbished military style dorms/barracks with a "Go-Go Bar" in between buildings (Really) Food, scenery and service was good tho, it was just a different environment!

Positives first staff very helpful and friendly.. Lovely wooded area. Ex US airforce base the blocks are brightly painted and named after American stars. The wartime aircraft theme is very interesting.
The rooms are clean but basic .If I did not no better I would think the beds were original ! Can't remember sleeping in a worse one with a worse mattress
Food poor served in cafeteria style restaurant .

Room Tip: If possible try and afford somewhere better.
