I visited the location one day before Easter. The place is wonderful: the setting, the view, the architecture, the chapel and the gardens. Even though the Abbey itself is very nicely built and the small chapel is very elegant, I took a special pleasure in visiting the farmer's house on the garden land. That is the place that triggered my imagination and daydreaming the most. We had the good fortune of having wonderful sunny weather and the lake and the mountains were very visible.
Overall, a place I am so happy I had the chance to visit and plan to see again, in the future.

Thank Catalina B

My fiance and I had a great time when we visited Kylemore Abbey however they were renovating most of the front of the castle so pictures weren't as great, you're only able to go in 3-4 rooms of the whole place and it was just overall underwhelming. The walled in garden was probably my favorite part. You were able to go in and see the farmers houses and the landscapes are very well kept. The Neo-Gothic church is a beauty, I loved all the marble inside and the mausoleum well, its not something you can go inside of but nonetheless, I enjoyed reading the history of the property. The views/landscapes are incredible. The Kylemore Abbey Castle was underwhelming but the land/views are worth the trip.

A lovely picturesque place! House tour is too short not enough to see only really three to four rooms my wife left disappointed she could not see more. Restaurant and wall gardens make the visit well worth while.
