This "Hotel Rural" is more like a country inn. The buildings have a lot of character. The rooms and their various features are simple, practical and tasteful, e.g. good mattresses, modern toilet and shower, every balcony with view. The staff (Isabel, Christian and Jacob) are extremely helpful, with lots of good suggestions for walks and excursions. The breakfasts are more than ample, with an incredible range of food. The comfortable dining room also serves as a common room throughout the day.
The inn's location in Ibo Alfaro is a 25-minute walk from the centre of Hermigua, so you either have to have a car or be prepared to do a lot of walking. If you're not motorised, you will either have to take a taxi or a bus to the starting point of any but local walks. Buses are however few and far between.More
