Nice place to lunch when at beach or pool or just walking around. Mojito’s tasty and beer ice cold. Good choice of sandwiches with side of chips, just the job. Did not try pasta but looked good. Staff friendly and great to sit and pass the time.

Read the reviews on trip adviser and decided this is a must try on our holiday. Sat Down and firstly was quite surprised at the price of a beer, 3 euros for Dorada!! Come on folks this is 1 euro beer in Las Americas. Wife ordered the walnut and mushroom pasta which was quite simply Devine and hard to beat. I however settled on the obligatory pepperoni pizza, it is an Italian restaurant after all. How sorry was I as soon as it was presented at the table as it was the most white, undercooked offering I have ever seen, no colour on the crust or base. I ate the centre, but left what I consider the best part...the crust. I visited the gents before leaving and discovered the cause of my dissointment, pizzas are cooked in what can only be described as a cheap convection oven, no open fire or industrial oven. The restaurant was superb at pasta but should not sully their name with quite pathetic pizza offerings.

we fell in love with Barraquito on our first visit in 2015 and always return as soon as possible when in LG. The food is really top quality at fairly budget prices so the couple who run the cafe deserve the success they are having. If you want to sit outside near the beach and marina at a place that will suit all the families tastes you will not find a better place in LG.
