We stayed here for two nights, using it as a base to explore Santa Clara and the nearby keys off the north coast of the province. Had it been possible I would have stayed at least one additional night simply to enjoy the property itself.
The lodgings are one and two-storey casas, very large and nicely appointed, with a surprisingly comfortable bed. The room wasn't well lit, sadly, and I couldn't figure out how to open the wooden shutters, but ultimately that was a minor point. The shower is large and the hot water ample. The casas are located so as to provide a good deal of privacy. The centrally located dining room was about a four-minute walk from my casa, across a lovely wooden bridge in a jungle-like setting. Cats, turkeys, and chickens roam the property, and horses were tethered in a neighboring field. It was a lovely, calming spot. If one needed a livelier scene there was always the pool and bar, both centrally located but far enough away from the casas so as to preserve the quiet of the latter. It was a great break from the hectic pace we maintained for most of our time in Cuba!

We had lunch at La Granjita on May 23rd, as part of an excursion to Santa Clara. We were both very impressed at the diversity and quality of the food served, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the friendliness and professionalism of the employees. This small resort looks like a place where we'd enjoy spending a few days. The grounds, buildings and pool look very well maintained.

The complex is located outside Santa Clara and consists of a combination of single and two storey cottages. All en-suite with reasonable furnishings and features. Air con worked okay however access to the upper levels for some maybe a problem.
Stayed 1 night, so didn't probably have enough time to fully explore the site.
The dinning room was good and the food was too!
Outside bar area was very pleasant with friendly service!

We received a very kind welcome at the side of the nicely equipped swimming pool and were very well informed about all the services.Once in our bungalow, however, we encountered difficulties to charge batteries of cameras and smartphones since there were only 2 plugs functioning. At the dinner buffet we had to wait very long before a waiter came to serve. Moreover he refused to sell us glasses of wine. Although we had different preferences and tastes, we had to order complete bottles of red and, white wine..Fresh vegetables grown in their own huerto! Overall value for money.

This hotel is near Santa Clara but far enough away to absolutely unaffected. It is in the style of an Indian village and the grounds are delightful. They have a large staff that is constantly working to keep them perfect. The rooms are in standalone 2 storey buildings. There are two suites upstairs and two downstairs. They are very clean and sufficiently appointed. The windows are covered by wooden louvres. These block light very effectively. The air conditioning is good but not quiet. The bed is large and comfortable.

The restaurant provided buffet meals. They were pleasant but not the best we ate in Cuba. The paw paw was tree ripened and delicious.

The swimming pool is perfectly clean and surrounded by deck chairs under the cover of palm roofs which provide shade and probably rain protection. Adjacent to the pool is a bar. You can front the bar or wait for waiter service.

Drinking water is available in many of the rooms. There is a charge but it was unclear how this was paid as there appeared to be no audit of the fridge contents.

Room Tip: Upstairs is nice
