Although we had booked, when we arrived there was no booking listed, but it didn't really matter, as there was plenty of room.
Unfortunately the chairs were a bit tatty, and although comfortable didn't really give a good image of the restaurant.
The speciality of the island is "Patagos" which are a shellfish, usually cooked in cream and garlic - a real treat. As they were on the menu, I didn't hesitate, and others in our group followed suit. The rest of the group took the set menu. When the Patagos arrived, the sauce looked like dirty dish water, with a couple of lumps of curdled milk in it, but this didn't deter me from tucking in. Unfortunately it seemed that they had been cooked earlier in the day and then reheated! They were small, dried up and chewy. Such a disappointment, especially with a pricetag of 20€.
One of the other choices taken was skate, and the person who had that said it was nice, but needed a sauce.
Talking about sauces - 2 were ordered ; one with a very fatty steak and the other with duck fillet. We waited and waited, and when the waitress was asked a second time, she told us that she had only got one pair of hands.
The Chocolate mousse for dessert apparently was very good.
All in all, a very disappointing experience, and I dont think we will be visiting this restaurant again in the near future, and to be completely honest I wouldn't recommend it to any one either.
An expensive meal for what it was.
