We were looking for somewhere to stay in the area for 2 nights and happened upon this gem which just fitted the bill exactly. One of the best rib eye steaks we have ever eaten on arrival, excellent service and an equally absolutely perfect breakfast next morning - all freshly cooked and as generous in size as the steak the night before. A compact bedroom overlooking the most pretty garden, quiet and peaceful, a bath as well as a shower and absolutely all we needed and more at a very modest price. We were aware that there is currently a refurbishment programme for upgrading rooms which will no doubt be very pleasant, but most importantly that whilst our yet to be upgraded room was a little dated everything was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners and staff were most welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and return.

Room Tip: We loved the room at the front overlooking the pretty garden

Fab boutique bedroom, very clean, everything we wanted. Food was good as always & served in a great friendly local bar. Look out for the breakfast, you won't need anything else all day. Would recommend to anyone.

What a lovely pub/Inn quiet location, warm and friendly and staff really nice. Rooms warm and inviting, lovely bathroom comfortable beds, TV and tea/coffee. Had a great meal in the evening, I had Welsh rump steak and hubby had lambs liver both tasted beautiful and great selection for breakfast. Definitely return.

We stayed 3 nights and wished we had longer. The room was spotless, the linens crisp and white, the towels fluffy and super quality.
Selection of toileteries in bathroom was lovely as was the tea & coffee making facilities and the bottles of water a really super touch. The meal in the evening was just gorgeous all home made. The owners were so approachable and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. My sister visiting from the USA was very very very impressed and like me loved our stay at this little gem. Thank you to all at the Olway from Claire

Stayed for the night on a beautiful weekend and couldn't be more impressed with the hospitality our family received. The food was superb and the service so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My room was delightful , light and airy with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and so quiet broken only by birdsong. Everything has been very carefully thought out in the rooms , a fan, umbrella, hairdryer, tea & coffee, complimentary soaps & creams and even a jar full of sweets! It is in a beautiful location with a lovely garden. A real treat!

Room Tip: I stayed in No 1 and it was freshly decorated and lovely.
