My boyfriend and I stayed in hotel Split for one night/one day, and after it we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. We awaited for the sunset on the roof terrace that has a nice pool and loungers, and the view of the sunset was breathtaking! Dinner was very tasty - I recommend L'Aroma pasta! Boyfriend enjoyed filled "pljeskavica" which is served superbly! The view, pleasant music in the background and exceptional service make the atmosphere very romantic. The room was beautiful and modern, bed extremely comfortable, and bedding so soft that you don't want to get up in the morning. And the view! As soon as you open your eyes: beautiful blue sky and sea. Breakfast is delicious and rich, and you can enjoy it in a beautifuly landscaped atrium of the hotel. We spent the rest of the day lying on the beach where you have everything you need: beach chairs, umbrella, coffee, refreshing cocktails and even sandwiches and burgers! In the hallway leading to the beach, the art works of an artist who works with wax and thread were exibited and those thrilled us! Very nice detail. The hotel staff is always smiling and friendly and ready to sincerely answer all possible questions you could have :)

We spend 3 nights in this hotel.
Breakfast was perfect - all you need! And the service there - top class!
Rooms were spacious and we had a room with balcony towards the sea - such a great view.
Location is perfect if you're just for beach, which is great in front btw. If you want to visit Split and old town, it is bit far away. We had a car, so it wasn't such big problem for us.
Weather while our stay was very windy, so pool area at the rooftop wasn't open which was sad.

Amazing hotel to spend your Croatia holiday in.

My partner and I went away for 10 days and decided to book Hotel Split after reading reviews and seeing pictures online, and my word, they didn't disappoint! In was an anniversary for us and I wanted to make it special, and therefore in advance asked for some flowers to be organised so it would be special when we entered the room. Communication was quick and they didn't disappoint. Upon entering (we found out in retrospect that the owner of the hotel himself organised it!!!!!) the room had rose petals over the floors and bed, red blankets were folded into the shape of two swans kissing, and the most beautiful tall and fragrant roses in a vase were sitting on a bedside table... my instant reaction was shock, as if I was in a romantic film movie scene, for the view of this was made even more special as we had a glass balcony peering out over the Adriatic sea! My partners reaction was complete joy and happiness and this set up the whole stay!!! Amazing!

The room itself was modern, clean, spacious with a nice bathroom. The cleaners made sure that the room is cleaned each day however there is a lack of consistency; for example dirty cups were regularly not taken from the room or balcony and cleaned.

The feature of this hotel that sets it apart are the large balconies from each room that look over the coastline with views of the Split peninsula and Brac island, with crystal clear blue water and beaches. It's literally like a postcard picture. Nobody could ever get tired of that view! Other reviews state that there is a lack of space on the beach; it is true that there isn't as much space as a Bali holiday for example, however if you venture to any other beach on the Split coastline especially in Split itself, there are literally hundreds of people close to each other and it's a fight to get a 1 metre square area to put down your towel! Not once did we feel stressed or claustrophobic here, and indeed when we visited Split we couldn't wait to get back to this calmer beach.

Each day we had breakfast included and this was neatly presented, varied in its choice made of tasty ingredients with coffee, cakes, croissants, eggs, vegetables, fruits, tasty home made jams etc. It really did set us up for the day. The service was nice and in general, the smiles and professionalism that stemmed from the owner himself (we saw him on various occasions with a smile and greetings himself) flowed through the staff. The whole team from top down was genuine and knew you personally which is exactly what you want from a boutique type hotel and not a chain of 5 stars hotels, which always feel slightly disingenuous. Here was the contrary and it almost felt like friends or family were hosting to and extent.

The amenities of the hotel with and rooftop terrace and pool, where you could have romantic dinners in the sunset looking over the gorgeous views (we did!!!) were more then enough and the spa facilities with a sauna and hot tub that you can rent definitely helped us relax even more. We have visited many hotels in the past but what made this one unique was the option to hire a spa room that contained it's own sauna, tub and shower for 1.5hrs. Once rented you can relax with the doors locked which made it extremely intimate.

The beachside terrace was modern and helpful staff always looked into our needs. There were specific very comfortable Italian fibred deck chairs (not the usual cheap plastic ones you usually get on the beach!) which you could use during the days and these were really lovely to nestle into and relax, soaking in the Adriatic sun.

Food was very well priced comparing to restaurants within Split and the quality was superb. Each fish dish was fresh and meats and vegetables tasteful. Don't forget to try the yummy cheesecake!

One can walk along the shore to other places and what made this lovely also was the quiet location and nice bay the hotel is situated in comparing to many other hotels we saw in Split.

All in all this is a fabulous place to relax and recharge your batteries, with close proximity to Split when you want. Watch this space, we may be back soon! :)

After our big day there's no better way to celebrate a honeymoon than relax in Hotel Split!
First when we enter in our room - surprise for us, so kindly prepared surprise rose pedals from door to our bed !
Sea L´Aroma Spa & Wellness - perfect relaxation after months of stress for our big day. Rooms are gorgeous and very modern designed, bathroom is fantastic clean i was very surprised to find such beautiful hotel near sea and lovely people.
Food in L´Aroma restaurant is just great.
This boutique hotel is by far the best of the best!

Room tip: Higer floors have better view.

Great hotel, modern and comfortable rooms (make sure you have one in the upper floor to have a nice view)
Very good service (reception a bit slow and complicated)
Breakfast room was very crowded (might be good to have one hour more until 11:00 to avoid guests having to wait)
Dinner restaurant was the highlight. Great service, very good food and beautiful sitting either on the terrace or on the balcony on the reception level (if too windy)
Snack bar on the beach level could offer a bigger variety of food during the day (especially since the nearby konoba was not good and crowded.
It's a pitty that the pool is on the roof and towards the road - could have been in the ground floor with view towards the beach.
Spa and massages were really good - facilities could be nicer to fit to the luxury image.
Fitness room doesn't really deserve the name - 3 machines in a very very small room.
Beach in front of the hotel is cute - very nice in the evening.
Split to be reached by car only and some restaurants in the Marina (ca 15 min walk over the beach)
Overall a nice stay for peaceful days.
