Room is basic (clean, spacious, comfortable bed), but the hotel location (very peaceful), it's history, their staff (excellent - friendly & accommodating) & the food was outstanding.

They were ready for us when we arrived late in the evening. Bags were taken to our rooms while they fitted us out with bracelets (we'd gone for the all inclusive) and sat us down for a late dinner - yummmmmm.

All food and tours included. We just had to decide on what we wanted and since there a fair age range in our group, this worked perfectly. The seniors signed up for short walks via bus/boat. The younger ones did the more challenging hikes. You don't need to go with a hiking guide - you are more than welcomed to go on your own. That is - you don't need to purchase the pkg just get accommodations. Purchasing a pkg worked for our group.

On our last full day, we hiked torre del paine on our own as following the guide meant a late start and we wanted to go earlier (weather forecast was for rain mid afternoon).

Definitely would stay here again - we loved our visit!

note 1 - while this was all paid up front, tip was not included. you could sign the food chit and have them add the tip or say no to the tip on the chit and add it to the final bill upon checkout.

note 2 - wifi was available - slow in our room, faster in common areas, and you definitely could tell when guests were back at the hotel (super slow). it's a good reminder to be unplugged. you could watch the horses graze outside your hotel room window instead.

We included this park as part of a 2 week trip to Argentina , it was worth the bus ride and boarder crossing paperwork ! Such a wild and magnificent place !!! We stayed in El Calafate Patagonia at the Hotel Xelena and I would recommend them as well.

Can't say enough positive about the location and outdoor activities at this place.

Rooms decent (not fancy, but why be, when you will be outside all day?), food and drink tasty.

Wifi a bit sketchy, but living in a rural area myself I realize the issues. Workable in the main parts of the facility, not so much in the rooms.

Stayed at Las Torres as part of a hiking trip. An absolutely magical location, surrounded by mountains with horses freely roaming the grounds - heaven! The room was very nice and well appointed. There was decent wifi, but not enough electrical outlets. Lovely shower with lots of hot water - great after a long day hiking. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite hot, but leaving the windows open and turning down the heat took care of that.

We had a wonderful dinner at Las Torres - potato puree with roasted veg for starters, potato gnocchi with beef for mains and apple strudel for dessert. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. the dining room is spectacular as well - surrounded by windows overlooking the grounds - just beautiful.

Breakfast was amazing as well. Lots of choices for hot and cold - everything was fresh and tasty.

I hope to visit again soon!

The hotel was picturesque from the outside, nestled into the mountains. Rooms weren’t anything fancy but they did the job.

The best thing about the hotel was the knowledge and passion shown by the guides, they really took the time to explain things properly and were interested in the wildlife and nature.
This is an amazing place, hope to come back someday!
