I have visited this hotel numerous times over the last 3 years and never been disappointed.

This is such a lovely place!! Hard to leave after four nights.
The house is located within hundreds of olive trees. Drive slowly the last bit and check for the deers. The romantic building from the 18th century has ten guest rooms, diner rooms with open fireplace. We started the days with the genuine Italian breakfast, good juices, local cheeses and jams, homemade bread and croissants, fresh fruits, eggs, different coffees to choose from...
During summer you eat outside with the view down the valley, several clock towers, lake Fomin - it's gorgeous.
Finally, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with organizing trips or printings maps.
Note: For your convenience you will need a car, even if there are busses going.

We have stayed in the Locanda degli Ulivi a number of times now and it is a fantastic place. Marisa’s genuine hospitality is second to none and the quality of the cooking is first class, using top class ingredients from the locality cooked in traditional style. The accommodation is clean in spacious simply furnished rooms. The setting in a large mature olive grove with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside is magical. Good value for money.
