Extremely handy, beautiful spot to either sit by the pool and admire the incredible view over a huge expanse of the Val d'Orcia countryside, or to use (as I did) as a base for 5 days of exploring the countryside and nearby towns. (San Quirico being 200 metres/yards down the road) and Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monticchiello all being within 20-35 min. drives. As mentioned, the next-door restaurant has the same, incrediblle view of the hills, and very high quality cuisine. (I had different pastas each night) Excellent place. Possibly the only small disadvantage (and it was FAR outweighed by the location and wonderful pool!) was slow wifi (which they were working on while I was there) ...

Room tip: Facing the valely/hills

Nice hotel situated in a lovely Tuscan country side.
The rooms could get even better if they added the ability for boiling a cup of water fore tea or coffe.
Clean rooms with aircondition and pool access and a great view.

Located as it is about 300 meters from the entrance gates to San Quirico d'Orcia this is a delightful hotel. The pool has to die-for views out over the surrounding countryside. The staff at reception were very professional and helpful. The room we had faced out over the countryside and came with its own private terrace which was a lovely place to spend sunset. The restaurant next door which provides dinner with a 10% discount for hotel staff was very good. My only gripes? 3. The first was that breakfast was advertised as starting at 7.30, and given we had to be on the road pretty quickly we were dismayed to have to wait until close to 8 am before they allowed anyone in in to eat. Getting a pre dinner drink at the bar was nigh impossible due to lack of staff. Finally - the wifi......Think impossibly slow then think some more. IT IS SLLLLLLOOOWWWWWWWW.

Larger than most accommodation in this part of Tuscany the property has spa facilities including pools outside and in. Comfy beds, spacious rooms (at least mine was -502) good bathrooms. Super clean. Self service breakfast was a varied buffet, plenty of healthy options and fruit.
Charming helpful staff. Lecture room for groups available too.
Fabulous restaurant next door owned by same family - reviewed separately.

Perfect situated on the top of the valley, overlooking the Tuscan beauty!
Walking distance to the old town where you can enjoy several very high class restaurants and tavernas, with classic Italien food and very good service.
My dream place to move when I win the lottery!

Very close to several nice italian cities, Sienna, Montepulciano, Florens, San Marino and of course a drive through Chianti district when you go north against Florens.
Breathtaking views, don't miss Tuscany when in Italy by car!

Room tip: A room with door out against the pool is very nice!
