VEry well made and well-maintained place--appropirate for a sentimental memorial. Located on topp of a hill--the place offers great views of the city., However, almost the entire cemetry is for non-Indians only--with a few exceptions only!

It was a great pleasure for me to be a part of the Group of Tour operators visiting Nagaland during Feb 2020. Visited the War cemetery and paid tribute to those brave soldiers who died during second world war.

This is the largest war cemetery in North East India. Very well managed and it says the great line " when you go home, tell them if us that we gave our today for your tomorrow ".

It is a must visit for history lovers. It is one of the biggest war cemeteries I have been to. It is close to city centre and you can easily walk from bus stand.

We stayed close to this lovely place and started our day from here.

The place showcases the struggle of the British to keep India safe from attack of Japanese. Soldiers from various religions are buried here. A large stone plaque had the names of various regiments and officers, who took part in battle of those times and laid their lives.
