I and my boyfriend stayed in Katerinas apartments on June a week and are were all well...The aparment very clean,the far in the sea very near,the aparment bigger so i believed and the service was very good.The balcony so big and I has view mountain and sea.I will be to go again...Sure!!!!

With my husband we recently spent 1 week in Katerina apartments (19-26/7/15 ) . 5 nights in one (2 room) apartment , and the 6th night in another similar . In general, the apartments and their location are good : they are very close to the town of Kalamata , very close to the sea and just below the Taygetos mountain. However, during our staying there, there was no cleaning service at all , except from the days of our checking -in (one upon our check- in in the 1st aprt., and one in the 2nd aprt.) . On the third day of our 5 day staying in the first aprt. we were given 1 set of sheets and towels which had to change ourselves . The absolute absence of cleaning service was unacceptable to us and not complied with the Greek law as far as I know . Also ,in the second aprt (which was a tiny one compared to the first one) , the W.C. was smelling awfully due to the fact that there was no window to get fresh air, although that there was an air mechanism . Another very negative aspect was that due to their location and the high humidity of the area , the many mosquitos after the sunset made the nice yard almost totally unusable . The doors to the yard had no mosquito nets and had to be well closed . Also, the owner should have been more careful and more friendly to his guests. To sum up I would not stay again or recommend the Katerina apartments .
