It doesn't open every Sat, so, check their schedule.

The vegetables were good, little bit far but worth to drive there.

Lots of free parking. Vendors are really friendly and provide quite a variety of fresh produce. Some homemade goodies also! Nice outing.

From my point of view is the best Farmers Market in the Ottawa region. I visit it a few times a year mostly for the meats but also for the fresh produce.

I love small markets in general but this one is our local -- we buy veg every week all summer long + take advantage of so many food options as our Saturday breakfast treat. In particular the unique coconut or sweet corn Thai Num Krok...never had them anywhere else, and they are spectacular. Also Mali's food is fresh and tasty, but there are so many options at the various stalls (everything from Mexican to poutine to Indian to bacon buns), just depends on your personal preference. It's true that it is not cheap, but you have the comfort of knowing that everything you buy is made/grown by the stall owner, and the organics are delicious: veg, meats, juice, oils, etc. Don't forget about the garlic festival every August, it's famous for a reason!

We recently visited family in Carp again and the Farmers market was on our list to re visit. We were not disappointed and the highlight was the lovely lady selling homemade marshmallows. My son purchased one and loved it, he then bought another for his brother. The young lady engaged in conversation with my sons and even said she would make cherry flavoured marshmallows for the following week if they were to visit again. Sure enough when my sons returned the following week there were the marshmallows! It has left a lasting memory for my boys and look forward to visiting again. There were lots of stalls offering unique and interesting produce. We purchased some beautiful pottery as gifts from our stay in Canada. Would highly recommend this pretty farmers market to visit.
