Loved this. Something different I can’t do back home. The husky farm was only a quick 5 min drive from the kelos in Kakslauten. I recommend it. The puppies are adorable. If you’re a dog lover, this must be on your list.

This was really fun and the staff was well-equipped to make sure we had a great experience. Warm coveralls were provided (though we had our own cold weather clothing and didn't use this).
This was definitely more economical than the resort-based offerings.

Two minor gripes: the ride was smellier than expected, as we were basically downwind of dogs that kept relieving themselves during the ride.
We stopped a few times, but had no idea why because there was no communications about why we were stopping. Since hand signals were used for dogs, we would suggest hand signals we used with the guests to provide a brief explanation of why we were stopping (like to change drivers, to resolve an issue with one of the sleds, terrain check, etc.) Something to keep it simple but helpful.
We highly recommend this experience and this company.
Also, we're glad we opted for the shorter ride, since it is very cold and you get the idea after about 15 minutes or so. After that it's all about comfort management.
We'd also suggest doing the tour of the dogs PRIOR to the experience, as it was extremely helpful and gave great, comforting insight into the exceptional care given to the dogs. This would have made the actual sled ride more enjoyable for us, as we would have had a better understanding of the dogs and operations first.

This was our single most favoutite activitivity in Lapland in a week of highlights. Husky & Co managed everything efficiently from hotel pick up to the farm, friendly & informative staff who helped us with the suits, answered all our qs,told us the difference between Alaskan & Siberian huskies etc. After briefing us with a few instructions we were led to the the frisky & friendly huskies & off we went on a ride in the white magical winterland on a bright sunny freezing day. Despite having hand & foot warmers i still froze & the hot juice, cinnamon rolls & cookies in the warm tepee are very welcome & a nice way to end the tour.
We also 'met the puppies' in their enclosure & though they were young they were already quite big & super friendly.

We went on a snowmobile tour which was a good price for the experience. It got a little bumpy but the sights were amazing. The leader gave us some good local information during the tour.

This was one of the main things we wanted to do in Lapland and Husky & Co did not disappoint! The only the thing I would change would be more time with the Huskies after the tour lol. Overall, great experience!
