Love it here! The food is SO good it’s just a shame you can’t finish it all because the portions are so big! How they serve such fab quality food in such quantities for a reasonable price is beyond me!

First time eating at the highwayman over the bank Holiday weekend and wasn't disappointed. Its quite out of the way so can be a struggle to find the place if your not local, but worth a trip. The whole place was clean and well kept and the food was above average for pub grub, huge portions which seemed good quality yet still pretty cheap so great value for money.
I would return if in the area and would recommend to friends for a cheap and cheerful decent meal.

Probably a popular place for people with huge appetites and no tastebuds. It was very busy and well presented but for me the food used was not of a good quality or taste. Also the drink I had seemed to have an after taste of chemical in it, not sure why though. Staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Anyway, they must be doing something right as they were full and people were waiting to be seated.

This place never fails to please.

We attended for a family meal to celebrate my sons birthday and once again everything was spot on. Seated immediately by a very welcoming staff member and this set the tone for the rest of our visit.
Food was superb and we were left to enjoy the whole experience at our own pace.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
