Setting was lovely with gardens to relax in. The room was large, well furnished and very comfortable. We ate on the terrace. Really good food, and good wine selection.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating.
They also serve locally brewed craft beers.

We stayed two nights here whilst visiting Oradour and walking in the area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, giving us details of walks and recommendations of where to visit. The owners speak very good English which is a real bonus. The food was excellent and the hotel quiet so we could get a good nights sleep. We were even presented with a bottle of the white wine we had been drinking as an aperitif when we left! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed 3 lovely nights at this hotel. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was excellent. The room clean and spacious. We loved everything about the hotel, the owners, the view, the staff and the meals, and look forward to a longer stay next time. Very convenient for Oradour and Limoges.

Room Tip: Ask for the panoramic room.

We were very warmly welcomed by the owners of the hotel - shown to a lovely room with a beautiful outlook - and given advice about where we could walk our dogs. After our walk we had a delicious supper in a lovely dining room - the old parts of the hotel have lots of character. The owners were very friendly as was the lass who waited on our table. We had a delicious breakfast the following morning before we continued on our journey.

Room Tip: We had a lovely room with triple aspect - it was a very large room with plenty of space for us and our dogs.

I would endorse most of the reviews here in respect of the good food, attractive grounds and affa ble proprietors. I didn't think that much of our room however. Like the beds in many Logis hotels the bed is only just a double and these days simply under-sized. Similarly the decor is old fashioned and random. Little or no thought appears to be given to the selection of soft furnishings. The paintings on the wall aren't attractive and add nothing to the decorative scheme. Colours and patterns clash wildly.
The local village is uninteresting and not worth a detour. This hotel is certainly worth staying in if you happen to be in this rather under visited corner of France.
