We stayed for five nights following a week on another island. Our last visit was a few years ago and we noticed a number of improvements including some refurbishment, increased sunbeds (we were pleased to see that management were making an effort to deter all day reserving of empty sunbeds, but a few persistent offenders remain) and umbrellas around the pool and a new breakfast menu. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is its staff who make a great effort to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. The area where some improvement could be made is the restaurant, where we noticed on a number of occasions, a lack of attention to detail particularly at breakfast, but also at dinner and specific examples were provided in the end of stay survey. We hope these will be addressed as we do intend to visit again.

I thought my first stay at Cobblers (with husband) was impossible to top, yet a second stay with a girlfriend was just as wonderful. Cobblers is a luxury sanctuary where you’re looked after entirely in a paradise-like setting. A real escape from hectic “real life”.

The hotel is right on the beach - lovely white sand and clear blue sea. The pool is lovely and quite popular (by boutique hotel standards) plenty of sun beds to relax on and attentive bar staff - recommend the rum punch!

The rooms are tastefully decorated with fabulous views of the ocean or garden. There is everything you need: restaurant with great food (we also dined at Lonestar but preferred Cobblers for lunch), a small simple spa, shop and all the complementary water sports. I had great fun learning to water ski and loved travelling to and from restaurants via the Cobblers pink speed boat!! Sorkelling at the front of the hotel and turtle watching is also worth a go.

The location is quite remote, so if you want to party or head to busier areas you’ll need a car/taxi - or make use of the private speedboat service.

All in all I’ve had two great stays at Cobblers and am looking forward to my next!

We have recently had both dinner and lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. The chef really knows his stuff and the food is tasty and well prepared. Charming staff who listen and remarkably good service as the food is only cooked after it has been ordered.
There is a risk in the Caribbean that meals are too bland and lack flavour. Neither of our two meals at this restaurant suffered from this problem. The place is justifiably popular so book.

Just back from the fantastic cobblers cove in barbados, this boutique hotel just gets better, we had a beautiful suite, which is very spacious, more like a bungalow, on arrival we are taken to our suite no hanging around to check in, they had also reserved a table in camelot restaurant, Richard who is one of the managers is the “man to go too” for advice on the hotel, restaurants, and everything you need to know, hes always around the hotel so easy to contact.
The new breakfast menu is great, i liked the : harissa toast, advocado and poached eggs, my husband dined on banana crepes most of the week, for lunch Wow try the lobster and crab with peashoots and mango scrumptious!!! Fantastic cocktail party serving laurent perrier champagne, and sunbeds no rushing for beds and brollys on wheels! So relaxing, afternoon tea is also excellent, great people staying and very interesting, lovely atmosphere, will be back later in year or early next year thank you Will and team for a lovely holiday

Let me start with a confession. This was my 10th annual stay at Cobblers and it gets better and better with each passing year. There is a sense about the place which provides a genuine sense of welcome to its guests that I have seldom seen repeated in any other high-end hotel I’ve stayed in. Perhaps this might be attributed to its comparatively small size (about 40 rooms, give or take), or the tropical garden through which guests must pass on their way to their rooms or the Great House on the beach. It does, but it’s charms don’t end there. An ongoing (out of season) programme of works has ensured that Cobblers continues to draw its many regular gueste back year after year.
