This was our second time staying at Lemon Arbour studio. The suite is in a cluster of condos on a golf course. The cluster has its own pool and laundry facilities (free of charge), and is close to the beaches, grocery stores, post office, and restaurants. In November, the regular golf season is just beginning so it’s very quiet, and you often get the pool to yourself. We spent our days touring or going to the beach and, in the evening when we got too hot, we'd go for a dip in the pool before bed. There is a ZR bus stop right outside the golf course entrance to take you into Bridgetown, or you can walk a bit further and catch the bigger buses to other areas. Rockley area is pretty bustling and touristy, but the golf course is an oasis of calm so you get the best of both worlds. The suite itself is great. It has a full kitchen so you can cook for yourself, a small bathroom, hallway with vanity, drawers for clothes and a closet with a safe. The patio is a lovely place to drink your morning coffee, and we even spent a couple hours there one day watching more than 20 monkeys play in the trees about 30 feet away! The king bed is super comfy, and there is an a/c unit for overnight comfort. All in all, it’s a wonderful place to stay!
Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. On arrival the apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with essential iteams needed to start your stay. The apartment was cleaned each week by a friendly and helpful staff member. The view of the golf course was beautiful and the monkeys that came out each day were entertaining to look at. The apartment is situated in a quiet area with the bonus of a pool and a laundry room near by. I had no problems whilst staying in Lemon Arbour and would gladly return there on my next visit.
It was a beautiful space with a semi private patio. It was cool during the days being on the shady side of the building and on the bottom floor. The was very clean and totally stocked for anything you needed. The pool was also beautiful and clean.
It was such a short hike down to the water and close to all kinds of things to do. The people at the front desk were welcoming and kind. I definitely recommend this place for a stay, as I have been recommending friends every time it comes up!
Thank you we will be back!
This was our first visit to Barbados and we spent just over two weeks at Lemon Arbour Studio. This was set in the grounds of Rockley Golf Course. The surroundings are beautifully kept with trees and colourful shrubs. We enjoyed watching the monkeys and the cheeky birds from our shady patio. The studio was very clean and well-equipped with everything you need to cook a simple meal. The bed was large and comfortable and there was a cupboard full of towels and extra linen. We especially appreciated the free laundry room with washers and dryers. We used the nearby pool area every morning and it was very quiet with plenty of loungers and seats. The nearby supermarket is well stocked and runs a courtesy bus. Great beaches are also a 10 minute walk away and we enjoyed using the local minibus taxis which run continually to Bridgetown or Oistins. The helpful management quickly turned up with a new toaster when the old one stopped working. This is a great place to stay although if you like night-life it's not for you. We will definitely return and fully recommend this good value accommodation.
We stay in this studio for 12 days,it is small but in all honesty we spent most of our time on the patio which was a great place to watch the monkeys passing by every morning .the kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast and lunch we never cooked a full meal but I am sure it would not of be a problem. The fridge freezer was brand new and when we asked if it would be possible to have a blender on Friday morning we were delighted when it was delivered on the Monday..
The bed was comfy and the housekeeper did a great job when she came in.
The pool is lovely and always had sunbeds we never used it much as we love the beach which is a 10 minute walk away . the laundry room was very handy.
We have never stay at Rockley before and we were pleased we gave it a try as we loved the location and the peace and quiet we had a hire car however everything was close by and didn't really need a car.
The only negative things we would say ,is that the whole studio could do with a good lick of paint I would personal redecorated from top to bottom there had been a leak at some point and although the leak had been repaired the damage which had been done was not and looked dreadful..We would also replace the curtains that let the light in and really were worn out .
We were going to rebook this apartment again for next year but the price has raised beyond what we where happy to pay for a studio so we are looking at another apartment on Rockley a one bedroom which will offer a little more room .
Had the price not jump up so much we would stay here again and certainly would of recommended it to family and friend.we were slightly disappointed .
