My boyfriend and I stayed at the SoCo Hotel for 6 days for our anniversary. Our friends also joined us and they had an amazing time as well.

Must say, the staff have made it truly exceptional and went out of their way every time. The food was also phenomenal for an all-inclusive, there are no buffet styles here. Drinks are all top-shelf and Shane was the best bartender we could ask for.

I also want to bring attention to the customer service, especially with the manager, Tracia. So, since we arrived, our AC did not work properly. We’ve complained to maintenance and each time, he did a “thorough” check, and kept telling us it was fine. It was not, I had 4 hours of sleep almost every night. Finally, the AC produced an error code and he said we didn’t tell him that the first time (shouldn’t he check every possible solution in the first place??) So the problem was now bigger than they thought, and it had to be replaced.

Now, Tracia came to us first. She found us by the pool and told us what was going on, and moved us to a new room for our final night. She even provided monetary compensation for our trouble without us asking. She certainly expressed disappointment with how the whole thing was handled and for her to take initiative to rectify the problem for us spoke volumes.

We will definitely stay at the SoCo again!

We have just arrived home after spending 14 nights at the Soco Hotel. This is our third visit to Barbados, previously staying at St Lawrence Gap on a room only basis and eating out. I must admit to being slightly anxious about going all inclusive but I definitely was not disappointed as we had the most fantastic holiday. The staff instantly make you feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely want you to enjoy your holiday and experience everything that Barbados has to offer. Michelle is an absolute star and is extremely attentive, when it rained she very quickly organised a rum tasting session and we never noticed the rain! there is plenty to do and see just speak to Michelle and she’ll sort it for you! All the staff are very efficient and friendly, this place has a real homely feeling too it. I feel special mentions should go too; Shane & Angel on the bar, Chanel, Nausica, Kerry, Nadia and Dimitri for making our holiday so special. The view, beach and boardwalk are Beautiful. It isn’t hard to get a spot on the beach and we never had a problem getting a brolly. The rooms are nice with cleaning daily. The food is amazing and there is plenty of choice, they will bring you extra portions if you ask and if you “think it’s nice, try it twice”. We would definitely go back here again and have made friends for life, it would feel like going home! Thanks Soco!

We have just returned from this superb 24 bedroom boutique hotel. What a fantastic holiday it was, I would be amazed if anyone could find fault with this place. Located right on the beach all rooms having an amazing sea view.
The food is exceptional the menu changes every two days for both Lunch and Dinner.
There are loads of attractions close by Garrison Savannah is the horse racing course on race day is great day out or go down to Pebble Beach Thursday and Sunday mornings to see the horses, swimming and bathing in the sea it was amazing! On Carlisle Beach, The Boatyard where you can sunbathe & take boat trip to snorkel & swim with the turtles & over the marine reserve. Also a great onsite restaurant and bar. Oistins Fish Market is a must on a Friday night, serving excellent local fish with live entertainment. All these attractions are within 10 to 15 minutes from the hotel and many more. We hired a car and with the help of the staff they told us what stop off points to make fabulous day out.
Michelle is the Concierge she knows everything about the island, I will go on to say that “EVERY HOTEL SHOULD HAVE A MICHELLE” She is truly outstanding she wants all her guests to enjoy their holiday and makes sure of this.
A massive thank you to all the staff for making our holiday special but in particular a big thank you to Angel, Shane, Narcica, Chenelle, Nadia, Dimitri and Dorran one of the fantastic chefs.
Thank you so much SoCo for an amazing holiday we will be back next year.

We had the best time at the soco hotel, we are already planning on going back! Every staff member was so welcoming and friendly, they knew our names by the second day. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they couldn't have made our stay better, our room was decorated when we got there and they even sang to us at dinner one night. Michelle the concierge was so helpful, booked taxis for us, told us where to go in Bridgetown, and booked a tour for us. Our room was always clean, beautiful view from the balcony. Absolutely no complaints about the food or drinks, if you liked something you could always ask for more. The boardwalk right next to the hotel was nice, we walked it everyday. There is a small grocery store close by and lots of beach bars and restaurants.
We have never had such a great vacation! We can't wait to go back.

Room tip: 4th floor has the best views
