Sugar Bay is great, the rooms are large and comfortable if a tad dark, the restaurants are fab the buffet is varied and fresh the beach bar Colin’s is fun beach and has local dishes that are really tasty. The resort itself is set on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach just down from the Garrison almost opposite the Garrison savannah racecourse. The horses are bathed in the sea just along from the resort every morning at 6am.
The two speciality restaurant s serve Asian fusion and a steakhouse ( the salmon also fab) The Spa is brilliant too but the thing that marks this resort out from millions of others is the staff, to many great one to mention individually but Derrick in the bar ️Kay, Sam and Nakita in the Spa were absolute stand out staff.
The gym could do with one more bike but equipment is good quality life fitness there is great diving and snorkelling nearby and the evening entertainment finishes at 10 so sleep is undisturbed.
5 mins in a cab to Bridgetown this place has changed my view of the South Coast forever.
Do not go anywhere else. Oh yeah one more thing Tiffin served at 4pm everyday on starched white linen tableclothsMore
