I also went with my friend here last weekend and it was one of of ,y favorite historic sites. We loved the history and the building very much. We went in the morning and during the night for climbing the stairs and for th photos. It’s definitely worth seeing.

Its a historic place that has so many things to know about the ruins in the museum inside it. Entry to this place is such a narrow road and you wont know until you reach the end & see this monument. Its always crowded. There are plenty of shops enroute to this monument & that adds up to the crowd. However its a must visit place when in Macau regardless of anything.

Te ruins of the St Paul's cathedral have become a major icon of Macau. They are reached by a flight of steps and the view from the top is excellent. We visited in the late afternoon and early evening, a good time with a magical atmosphere. The only problem is the mass of visitors and tourists who congregate all around the ruins and the busy street below.

This is a UNESCO world heritage site and a must visit on a trip to Macau. It is the symbol of Macau.

The ruins of St Paul are high on a hill and reached by 68 steps. The facade has intricate carvings - a merger of east and west. So much history in these ruins. There is a crypt underneath and a display of some artefacts.

On the walk to the ruins the street is full of vendors selling almond biscuits and beef jerky and they give out free samples. Shops selling the famous Portuguese egg tarts are nearby as well.

It is full of tourists but I went on a week day and it wasn’t too bad.

If you are in Macau you will sure walk up to this place. Try to select a day with good sunshine to be able to create nice pictures. Try all local food as many as you can.
If you go weekdays, having less people, if you don’t like crowd.
