Went over the new year. It's a bit confusing on arrival as there is no map and hard to know what facilities they have. Firstly the hotel staff were really friendly especially the restaurant waiting staff and Maitre D.
Cleaning of the rooms left a lot to be desired the place was clean but for the whole week they tidied the bed and put new towels in they never did anything else....
Food hmm the main thing it's plentiful so you won't go hungry but if you were veggie very limited. we were half board breakfast was good but there was no variation don't get me wrong pastries galore, waffles, fruit but hot food every day they did beans tomatoes and fried eggs or omelette... that was it every day. Dinner the veggie option was lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber then it was undercooked pizza (1) or overlooked pasta with a tomatoe sauce... every single day! We changed to lunch three time as in the smaller buffet they catered better there was always veg e.g. Cauliflower gratin or broccoli, asparagus a risotto or pasta but there was always mushroom croquettes or spinach empanadas and gazpacho soup so there were options and a veggie Cannelloni. If they could do it at lunch why not dinner.. there was a gala dinner for nye it looked amazing guess what even more limited there was so much Food and i struggled to actually eat anything it was really upsetting as others were tucking into FoieGras and lobster and chocolate fountains and caviar but they had even mixed meat into the salads... there was a Sushi stand they couldn't even put a piece of cucumber in a maki to even make an attempt at catering for veggies. But it you did eat meat and fish it was amazing.
The spa was good and liked the swimming pools one was heated so that was great and the beach towels were really good quality... wood go back again for the facilities but only if there was a b&b option.

Wonderful refreshingly clean rooms, Pools and garden's, staff very friendly and courteous.
Harbour bars and restaurants just down the palm tree lined avenue were very good as was the regular ferry trips to neighbouring resorts,
The only downside I found was the Hotels buffet dinner evening we attended which I found a little disappointing.

We returned for the seventh time over Christmas and New Year - which speaks for itself. We love this place and find it does us the world of good in terms of relaxing and re-charging the batteries. Puerto de Mogan may be seeing some inevitable changes, but the core values of Cordial Mogan Playa are unchanging - great service, great relationships, great experiences.

The staff here are all friendly and professional, but we would like to mention some lovely people who made our stay particularly pleasant - managers Christian and Eugenio, reception manager Claudia, restaurant and bar staff Juani, Tania, Benito, Alejandro and Carmen - and last but not least, the lady who really runs the place, the Duchess of Mogan Playa, Senora Ana Artiles!

Great hotel, brought back memories of previous visit Christmas 8 years ago when it was less developed, however the standard remains just as high, which was a pleasant surprise. in view of the standard of the hotel I was disappointed to have had some headphones stolen which were a Christmas present.........................

Room Tip: Email request prior to visit.

This hotel is fantastic. Suites are excellent. Separate breakfast area very good. Food location and waiting staff are excellent. Will be back !

Entertainment was not so good in the evenings. Well worth upgrading to a suite.
Also worth swapping evening meal for a lunchtime and going down to the harbour to experience the vibrant night life.

Not worth a trip to Morgan itself. Market day is vibrant but all very much the same sort of wares!

Fully recommend this hotel
