This hotel is fantastic. Suites are excellent. Separate breakfast area very good. Food location and waiting staff are excellent. Will be back !

Entertainment was not so good in the evenings. Well worth upgrading to a suite.
Also worth swapping evening meal for a lunchtime and going down to the harbour to experience the vibrant night life.

Not worth a trip to Morgan itself. Market day is vibrant but all very much the same sort of wares!

Fully recommend this hotel

My husband and I stayed for a week in September. Great place to stay, the room was large and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, lots of hangers in the wardrobe. The Nature Reserve Walk was excellent, access from the hotel. The food was good plenty of choice. The drinks were a bit pricy in the hotel. But a short walk to lots of bars.

We are packing to leave this lovely hotel today after two weeks in the winter sun. We found the best part of the stay to be the lovely friendly and helpful staff who worked very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The reception staff (sorry can't recall your name) was a really lovely girl who welcomed us and helped us with our room request and choices

Good to see lots of management around as this certainly helped to keep the place well organised. Our very specific request to have a sunny room with sun beds was met which meant we had a very spacious third floor superior room with a huge balcony which gave us lovely afternoon sun. We had to walk into the town which only took around 10 mins strolling to get morning sun, but this was a nice start to our day, people watching around the harbour and beach areas. We weren't all that struck by the hotel food as it wasn't to our taste, so most days chose to either eat out or used the wonderful fine dining restaurant Los Guayares in the hotel. They really deserve the rave reviews as the food is very good, especially with the 15€ credit for not using the main restaurant.
The gardens and grounds are immaculately maintained, as are the rooms. Some have said their decor was dated, but I think that the colours and style reflect the country very well.

We found that sometimes communication wasn't as good as we would have liked, such as the changed times for dinner at New Year which the restaurant manager insisted were well advertised. We checked the little brochure and it definitely wasn't changed in there, but the brochure was very oddly put together! Similarly there was poor info regarding the change of opening days for the Los Guayares. However, only a minor irritation. The special shows and dance exhibitions over Christmas and New Year weren't well planned as they were in such a small area with very limited seating you had no chance of seeing anything. The free drinks and canapés were just a free for all. Anyone could just walk in off the street and help themselves to these which meant there was a complete melee. My advice would be to give residents tokens for these events as we saw lots of people have lots of free drinks then disappear!

Our holiday for two weeks was expensive, particularly as we didn't choose to use the many facilities on offer, such as the entertainment, pool, spa etc. Over 6000 for two weeks wasn't all that good value for money in our opinion, though this included private transfers and half board in a superior room, but we understand that all hotels charge a premium for this time of year.

Despite my negative feedback, the positives outweigh the negatives and we would certainly return, but probably on a bed and breakfast basis to give us more flexibility over food.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed in a Junior suite with a balcony. Very spacious with a separate sitting room and big bedroom and bathroom.
Our only problem with the hotel is that because of its size ( huge) and layout ( beautiful landscaping with lots of trees ), there aren't enough sun beds in the sun for everybody. Consequently, you get all the selfish people reserving sun beds with towels from 7.30 in the morning. This is despite there being signs everywhere asking people not to do this. I don't blame the hotel for not enforcing the rule as they would probably get even more complaints from the Sun bed hoggers.

We stayed at the Cordial Mogán Playa for a week over Christmas

We were travelling with our daughter and had emailed ahead and requested rooms together on a high floor overlooking the pool and to our delight that is exactly what we got, two lovely rooms which also got late afternoon sun to enjoy a drink before the sun went down.

The resort is beautiful with well kept gardens and endless little areas to explore.
We found all of the staff to be courtious and helpful from the bellboy to the waiters.
Parking was easier than I had anticipated, although the underground car park is a bit tight to manoeuvre around.

The Friday market is huge and is right outside the hotel on the pedestrian walkway.
Mogen is a beautiful, with a casual vibe that encourages you to explore the port and waterways.

Thank you all for a fantastic holiday
