We stayed here for 3 nights and the resort is beautiful. It is located on the north end of the island which means it is really peaceful at night but also a short walk to the hustle and bustle.
We ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner and it was delicious.
Our room was massive - 2 double beds, lots of space and a large bathroom.
Our rooms were cleaned daily and had evening turn down service.
Would highly recommend staying here.More

Restaurant: awesome view and excelent quality, you seat on the beach 2 feet from the ocean. Only the wood chairs are not comfortable.
Price ratio is great

Its really easy to write about this stay: just book it. Staff is amazing: so amazing friendly, always smiling, nothing is too much. Room is perfect: clean, big, everything you need, big shower. Private beach: clean, enough seats, staff for serving, perfect for swimming and snorkling with turtles. Breakfast: everything is there. A nice extra is the afternoon tea with free tea and coffee. So dont doubt, just book it!

The hotel is really basic. You get the basics of everything. Toilet's pretty big but the show drains are clogged. I suppose that's what happens at beachfront villas? The room is clean though.
Staff speaks little english and seems a little lost when checking us in.
The breakfast is pretty bad, but at least there's an egg station. The pool is small and oddly shaped. Barely anyone was using it, but that's fine, the ocean's bigger.
It's about a 10 mins walk from the ferry terminal.
Don't hate it. Don't love it.

This hotel is exceptional.
We stayed in a deluxe room and it was huge with a lovely big comfortable bed, nice linen, a big bathroom with separate outside bath (shower and basin inside), great wifi and aircon, tinted windows, just perfect.
The hotel is immaculate throughout, the grounds, the pool, the rooms and all of the public areas. It is brilliantly managed and the staff are second to none. This is Sandals quality personal service.
There is dining on the beach with excellent, reasonably priced food.
The pool is a good size and there are lovely sunbeds on the beach, reserved only for hotel guests.
This is the best beach for snorkeling and we saw Turtles every day within a few meters of the shore, literally everybody that rents a snorkel has the chance to get up close to one of these beautiful creatures. A short swim further out and there is an abundance of marine life.
It's a very quiet area of the beach but a 5 minute walk in one direction will take you info the main part of town with all the restaurants, bars and life you could need. A walk in the other direction takes you past lovely small beach bar huts selling cheaper drinks and food and even magic mushroom shakes if that's your thing.
Gili Trawangan is truly a paradise on earth and Villa Almarik is a paradise within Gili Trawangan.
We'll done to the manager and the wonderful staff, we can honestly say that we have never stayed anywhere better and we have stayed in Sandals and Riu resorts throughout the Caribbean.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
Good hotel, excellent staff, excellent restaurant. There is a safe but not fixed to the wall)). The first line, very clean, service at a height. If you do not delve into the details, it is very worthy. I recommend !!!!
