A very nice pateo to have a relaxing dinner, the meat is top quality and they give a touch of the mediterran to the dishes.

Thank Andre C

We visited El Carnicero last evening on recommendation from Hotel we are staying at .
When ordering Steak we ordered medium rare and well done . When the restuarant served the steaks they gave my wife the medium rare and me the well done which was the wrong way around , they didn’t ask so we assumed they got it right . It was only after eating half* of the steaks each we discovered they got it wrong .

They cut the steak in *half in front of you , leaving half on a warming plate . How we discovered the steaks were the wrong way around was when we served ourselves the remaining halves .

We both ordered jacket potato but only one was served with the steaks . The oven baked veg I ordered was cold .

Also if you have children they do not cater for children it’s 20 Euros each for grilled chicken with chips extra .

I think El Carnicero was overly expensive for the disappointing service we had .

Venue was beautiful
On arrival the girl on front of house took us to a corner of the restaurant which was not undercover and it had been raining up until arrival
We arrived to a empty venue and when I asked if we could sit under cover it was as if I had asked for a free meal
Being told as there were 4 of us we couldn't sit at a table of 6 which was more suitably positioned. Amazing when the venue seats about 250 and it was empty
Eventually the waiter took over and we sat undercover
There were an abundance of mosquitos which was due to the rain which after the family got hammered to be fair the staff came over with spray for us
We are a well travelled family and as the menu came across very expensive we thought well we will give it a go
The meat we chose was covered in fat and only about 3 quarters was edible
You have to pay for and accomplements which when ordering 3 portions of potatoe chips we didn't expect crisps
The whole meal was dry with no option other than cold pepper purée
Or a mustard type dressing to choose from
My daughters burger was very good but that was about it
For 200 euros with 1 drink and no starters or deserts it has been our most expensive and the most dissapointing meal this holiday
You need to get the front of house to take of the customers in front of trying to look good
The waiters themselves were spot on
Have never written a bad review before but felt this was necessary
Good look!

From a pure beef perspective, the cuts are more South American/Argentinian and not bad, not incredible, but then that would not be the sole reason why to go here, although I am steak purist myself.

The whole setting in an ancient Spanish farm house with outdoor seating in a colorful arena of lights mirrors and jingle, and the evening entertainment in the background is very very good.

Luca the manager is a top guy, and does an amazing service with personality and professionalism.

All the staff went out of their way to please, so all in all we were well satisfied and will return soonest.

The meat is amazing! Super friendly service and very nice atmosphere! You feel in the countryside but you are 5 min away from the centre of Ibiza. Nice place for a dinner with a group of friends and as well for a romantic evening with your love.
