Villa Belvedere has some very lovely rooms. the main accommodation block looks lovely. i wasn't in it. i was in the newer additional rooms that don't have a view and back on to the car parking area. The hospitality is very good: the welcome is warm and front desk very helpful. the breakfast buffet gets a bit repetitive, and for some reason some guests seemed to have a pre-reserved system for getting preferential table booking...for breakfast. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. it was difficult to sit out in the evening as they were a real problem. The outside lighting didn't work when we arrived and so an engineer had to attend to repair this. the housekeeping was good but basic things, like replacing teabags, didn't always happen and dirty cups weren't removed. What i really like is that there is a great running/walking track literally at the back of the hotel which loops round the whole town. this is great if you want a walk or a run.
