Booking at short notice for a family group where ages ranged from 8 to 70, Ellie was enthusiastic and efficient, providing good advice on the range of activities available and calling us straight back with options. We opted for a morning mountain biking and an afternoon coasteering.
On the day, Andy was equally enthusiastic and accommodating to the range of skills within our party, providing safe and fun supervision; and patience and support for the less adventurous.
The whole family had a great day at Clearsky, and we will be going back.
We had a fantastic few hours at castleward on sunday! a great value family adventure day, well organised and brilliant fun. Highly recommended =0)
Great day out in a beautiful location. We had the added bonus of the RIB taking us to the location. Davey and Andy looked after us very well. Would totally recommend it to anyone. Not too strenuous and a great way to see the coast. Lovely hot shower back at the centre
We had a great time and all was perfect. The combination of the Base camp Castle Ward and the Clearsky center just down the hill was great. We enjoyed the rock hopping very much and the weather was very kind to us. We had a good paddle in the lough in the open canoes seeing the fish jump and the local sea birds flying about . The completion of the archery was high but great fun. The kids loved the climbing wall and the where pushing to get to the most difficult section. The instructors in all the activities where great. They did make the activities more enjoyable. They did make sure that the safety aspect to all our activities came first and we had no issues there. Thanks to Castle ward National Trust and all the staff of Clearsky Adventure Center.

Have just come back from a brilliant afternoon out Extreme Coasteering with Clearsky Adventure. For those thrill seekers out there this is definitely something you have to do. Clearsky do a range of activities but the Extreme Coasteering was our choice. There were 11 blokes aged from the late 20’s to mid 30’s and we all had a belter time.
Coasteering is basically getting suited up in a wet suit, buoyancy aid and helmet and then diving off rocks/small cliffs into rock pools. Its not tame stuff and you would need to be confident enough with some heights and definitely be able to swim. But you have instructors there for safety and to talk you through things. James, our instructor was a good laugh and made the day for us. There is nothing like this elsewhere in Northern Ireland so it is definitely something to think about doing. Really, really good banter.
I would 100% do it again. Make sure to bring old trainers.
A bunch of us went Coasteering through Clearsky Adventure Centre on 31st July as part of a stag weekend. It was such good craic and well worth the money.
Our intructors (James and Tara) were very friendly and professional. They put us at our ease and made it clear that people could opt out of any part of the event at any time. James was a really good laugh and his banter certainly added to our enjoyment.
Coasteering itself was exhilarating and so enjoyable. Some of our group neither liked heights nor were confident swimmers but we all had a great time.
I unreservedly recommend this to anybody who would like to do something a little bit different.
I will certainly be back.
